Just as we grow in our faith and our walk with Christ, we also grow in our generosity toward others and toward the church. Throughout Scripture, we see God inviting His people into a life of giving, beginning in the Old Testament, where He called His people to give 10% to support the work of the temple and those who served there.

 

For many people who are new to faith or new to giving, starting at 10% can feel overwhelming. If you are just beginning this journey, we encourage you to consider Foundational Generosity. This is giving $35 per week to support the ministry of our church. This amount reflects our basic operating needs divided by our weekly adult attendance, and it helps ensure that we can do ministry like we are doing it.

As you walk with God and grow in your trust in Him, you may feel led to take further steps in generosity—moving toward tithing and even beyond, as the Holy Spirit guides you.

Giving is an act of faith, and for many believers, it is one of the most meaningful and challenging steps in their spiritual journey. God uses faithful generosity to meet needs in our church and community, provide a physical space where we can worship and experience life change, and advance His kingdom here on earth.
